A domain is rented, not bought forever — when it expires, your website and email stop, and eventually anyone can register your name. Renewing takes a minute in the client area, and Auto-Renew means you never have to think about it again.
Renew manually
- Log in → Domains → My Domains — the list shows each domain's expiry date.
- Click the domain and choose its Renew option (there is also a bulk-renew choice on the domains list if you have several).
- Choose the renewal period and confirm — an invoice is created.
- Pay the invoice using the instructions shown on it.
✅ Result: Once payment is confirmed, the expiry date moves forward by the period you chose (normally 1 year; .pk domains follow their 2-year cycle). You can renew early — the new period is added on top of your remaining time, nothing is lost.
Turn ON Auto-Renew (recommended)
- Open the domain's management page (Domains → My Domains → click the domain).
- Find the Auto Renewal status and choose Enable Auto Renew.
- Keep funds available: before expiry, the system generates a renewal invoice — make sure you pay it on time (adding account credit in advance makes this fully automatic).
⚠ Common mistakes & fixes
- Depending on reminder emails: they land in spam, or in an old inbox you no longer read. Auto-Renew + correct contact details is the real safety net.
- Renewing after expiry: possible during the grace period — but why risk downtime? Renew as soon as the invoice appears.
- Auto-Renew on, but the invoice unpaid: auto-renew creates the invoice automatically; it still needs payment unless you hold account credit. Check your Billing section when a renewal notice arrives.
